Yoder Pot Mum Amarillo (USPP #13970) The flower color is classic chrysanthemum gold. Deeper and richer in color than Kory. Amarillo loves the heat of the summer and provides good high-temperature tolerance and good flower color. An ideal color to offer for sale at most any time of the year, but especially well suited to the fall harvest season, Thanksgiving and spring holidays. Responds as a fast 8-week variety except in low light and excessively high temperatures. In mid winter, flowering may slow by several days. In extremely hot summer environments such as southern Florida, response may slow by a week or so. For most regions, Amarillo would have very good high-temperature tolerance. Suggested for medium-treatment schedules. Its vigor is so good that with excellent cultural and growing environments, tall treatment may be preferred.
