Truck: We ship on carts in our own climate-controlled trucks. Call Aris Green Leaf Plants® or your distributor sales representative for minimums and freight quote. Special discounted freight rates are available for truckload volumes.

Boxed Shipments: We use Federal Express for most boxed shipments. This service works best for small orders and for customers outside normal truck routes.

Temperature extremes: If a boxed liner shipment is scheduled when freeze or heat damage is likely, Green Leaf Plants® will contact consignee to discuss options, including upgrading delivery to Priority Overnight Service to protect product or holding material for 1 week. Additional freight cost to be invoiced.

Customer Pickup: At Lancaster, PA, by appointment.

Loss and Damaged Shipments: All shipments should be accepted from the carrier regardless of condition. If damage is apparent, or if the shipment is delivered short, a notation to that effect should be made on the carrier’s delivery receipt. If damage is of such a nature that it is not discovered until the boxes are unpacked, the carrier’s agent should be notified and arrangements made for an inspection. This should be done immediately after discovery of the damage, but no later than 48 hours after discovery. For claims, see details below.

Claims: Report any claims concerning product quality or shortages within 48 hours. Failure to notify us promptly may result in delay or refusal of claim. Vernalized plants may be dormant or just emerging from dormancy. Such plants will outperform those that have not had a cold treatment, but may take some to resume active growth. We continue to strive to bring you the best quality Plant products possible. Despite our rigorous attention to growing, packing and shipping details, we realize there are times when our product does not arrive in perfect condition. Therefore, follow a few basic procedures upon receiving your shipments to insure that any problems receive prompt resolutions.
