Description

Peppermint Schnapps' is in the Hibiscus Cordials series, known for shorter and fuller habits than the industry standards for Hibiscus moscheutos. Easy to produce, heat-loving performers. Large, 8- to 10-inch (20 to 25 cm), blooms are pink accented with darker pink stripes and smears. Vernalization is not required for flowering. Fascinating foliage: big, bold leaves are cool green, with deeply-incised "maple leaf" edge. Sturdy, upright habit. Flowers in midsummer. One of Allan Armitage's favorite Hibiscus varieties in the 2011 University of Georgia trials. Comes to Must Have Perennials® from from Aris Horticulture, Inc.
